Veterinary reproduction is a branch of veterinary medicine that deals with the study of the normal reproductive function of an animal, as well as its pathological conditions that can lead to infertility and other complications.

• diagnosis and treatment of infertility and diseases of the reproductive system, such as inflammation of the uterus, abortion, etc.;
• intrauterine insemination.

• The main diagnostic tools during a visit to a reproductologist are measuring the level of progesterone in the blood and performing an ultrasound scan. For these studies, it is necessary that your animal was hungry for 10-12 hours.
• Be prepared that for an ultrasound, you may need to shave the hair in the abdominal cavity.
• For vaginoscopy, it is sometimes necessary to resort to medical sleep. In this case, blood tests and ECHO KG will be recommended.
• If you wish to conduct a dog semen test, it is strongly recommended that you bring an estrus bitch with you to your appointment.
