What is the advantage of this method:
Computed tomography allows to detect and diagnose:

- oncological processes in the early stages;
- metastases in late stages, when there is a question whether to perform surgical intervention or not;
- vascular pathologies that were generally unavailable for diagnosis;
- tomography of the thoracic and abdominal organs with and without contrast;
- evaluate kidney function and blood flow in neoplasms;
- any foreign objects in the animal's body;
- pathologies of the spinal column and joints.

HOW IS THE PROCEDURE CONDUCTED?

- CT scan for animals in the city of Kyiv is performed at the Zoolyuks clinic at the address Dmytrivska. 39 by a veterinary radiologist
- CT scans for dogs and cats are performed under sedation, under the supervision of doctors from the anesthesiology department. This is necessary for the accuracy of the image.
- Appointments for CT scans of cats and dogs are made from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m

CONTRAINDICATION:
Contraindications to conducting computed tomography (CT) of animals are:

- animal pregnancy;
- Intolerance of sedatives.

COST OF CT ZOOLUX:

- The cost of examining 1 zone without anesthesia is UAH 2,000, regardless of the type and weight of the animal.
- The cost of examination of 1 zone without anesthesia with contrast (native CT, CT of the arterial and CT of the venous phase) - UAH 4,000, regardless of the type and weight of the animal

- Zones for CT of animals are as follows: head, spine, organs of the thoracic cavity, organs of the abdominal cavity, thoracic limbs, pelvic limbs, pelvis.
